We, OSHIMA AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY MFG. CO., LTD. was formed in 1917 as an agricultural machinery manufacturer to contribute modernization of Japanese Agricultural Sector. We established Oshimanoki Myanmar Co., Ltd. as our subsidiary in August, 2017. As we can produce and supply Japanese Quality products in Myanmar at lower price, we can lower the hard work of paddy drying process with high quality output. Especially, we can reassure the implementation of paddy drying process with excellent after sales service for customers’ satisfactory. We are always listening the voice of customers and always combine our efforts for sustainable development of society and industry. OshimaNoki Myanmar Factory Summary
Oshimanoki Myanmar (ONM) is established in 15th August 2017 at Lot No.BC4, Thilawa SEZ Zone B,Yangon Region with the capital of 5.3million US$. The factory construction was finished in 17th December 2018 and started operating in January 2019. President from parent company Mr. 大島 伸彦（NOBUHIKO OSHIMA） serves as the Managing Director of ONM. Our primary product is the Automatic Paddy Drying Machine (MJD-15) [15 Tons] that will work together with Husk Furnace as the source of heat. There are nearly 30 Myanmar employees and 2 Japanese managers.
Why Myanmar?
Strong Market and Needs
It was largest rice export country in the early stage. Moreover, it has suitable weather and soil for the grain planting and that can be high growth. There are approximately 15,000 Rice Millers.Era's growth and industrial growth are delay. So, Myanmar will need more grain drying machine.
- Having rice mills without grain drying machine.
- Though some have drying machine, they are [cheap and low quality] China machines.
- For the Sun drying, there also have needs. (Quality, Rainy Season, Human Resources)
Impact of Competitors
Even the grain drying manufacturers (Japan, Korea, Taiwan) are offensive into the market, not success in the market yet. Because of price is expensive. Myanmar have less of farm equipment manufacturer.

Income Tax: receive income tax (corporate tax) exemptions for the first 5 year. After these periods, the exemption remains at 50 percent for another 5 years. Import Tax: receive tax exemptions for the construction equipment and plant equipment.
One Stop Service Center (OSSC)
Myanmar government offices (Thilawa SEZ Management Committee) has placed in administrative office. So, investors do not need to go to Yangon, Naypyidaw and all processes will finish at one place.
ThiLaWa Industrial Zone
Electricity: Because electric substation was located in the ThiLaWa industrial zone, the electric shortage can be less than another industrial zone. Water used in industrial: the water storage pond is located in this zone, So, the investor can easily get pure water. Drainage: Drainage are contained in the zone. So, that can reduce flooding occurred by the rain than another industrial zone.
